Complete synchronization of all media in your home (dvds, pictures, music, etc) available everywhere you have a TV or stereo, complete control from web surfaces, cellphones, and any random remote you find laying around. A complete corporate level phone system, integrated with a top notch heterogeneous security system (hetero in that multiple security devices from different vendors can all be tied together along with everything including the sprinkler system). And you want all the software with a gnu public license so you can freely distribute and modify the source code? You got it:
