When the teaser for this film first slapped us in the face before Transformers last summer, there was so much controversy over the title of the film, if it was a film, was it a LOST tie-in? The code-name for the film was CLOVERFIELD, and all the internet nerds were abuzz with what exactly that meant. Well the joke is on us, the codename is the actual title of the film. Last week this new trailer hit, kind of gives you a real sense of panic. The camera work in the trailer reminded me of two things, the opening battle scene of Saving Private Ryan (I was sitting in a movie theatre full of veterans opening day of that film and after that sequence I wanted to go have a beer break, it wore me out), and, all the footage from 9/11 in New York City.
