Alright so boat racing is over, and we finished out as the High Points River Racer champion, hopefully before too long we will have the video footage from the 2007 season up for everyone to see. So of course living in west Texas the talk of Monday morning is how the Dallas Cowboys did, people argue over the Tech game, how the Aggies did, or complain about the Texas Longhorns. Of course you also have your racing geeks, talking about the big Nascar wreck, or how Dale Jr. was driving. This morning in my part of the world the big discussion was the John Force funny car accident that happened in Dallas yesterday. I have seen a lot of crashes in my life, more on water than on asphalt, but man this thing blew into a billion pieces. It has been years since I have been to the drag strip, last time I was there the top speed was only like 250 mph. Now they are going at top speeds of 318 to 325 mph. INSANE. But man I bet its a rush....
