Freedom comes out the end of a taser these days.....

So what's your opinion of the use of the 'Taser' at the UF incident? My understanding was that a taser was to be used when you needed to take down someone who was physically violent and you were not physically capable of restraining them. Here we have a non-violent individual who is already on the ground with numerous officers on top of him, and they use the taser to attain total submission. Post some thoughts please!
