MEL BROOKS RULES....YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN RESURRECTED!!

Mel Brooks has always been one of my favorite filmmakers of all time. Years ago, when I had no clue who he was, we went to the local cinema to catch the Star Wars parody, Spaceballs. We watched it out on the back porch a few months ago, and I can recite almost every line in the whole film, it’s a true classic. Blazing Saddles will go down in history has the funniest western of all time, also as the smelliest (the campfire scene that I have seen reenacted before in real life). Young Frankenstein was one of my favorites, Gene Wilder as the professor, Marty Feldman’s bug eyed Igor, the hysterical Madeline Kahn as the damsel, Peter Boyles hilarious turn as the monster, and the classic Cloris Leachman as the Frau: you can’t beat the cast in this film. I had heard they were turning this one into a Broadway musical a la The Producers, and while reading Variety I ran across ”this article here….anyone want to go to Seattle??
