So last weekend we headed out to Phoenix, Arizona with the newly painted MORE AGGRAVATION and AGGRAVATION to compete in the IHBA WORLD FINALS drag boat race. AGGRAVATION made it to the 2nd round, MORE AGGRAVATION slipped through to the finals and won the STOCK ELIMINATOR championship. Sure made the drive home a lot more enjoyable. Saturday during the top fuel hydro qualifying, James Ray of Midland, Texas took quite the tumble in his TEQUILA SUNRISE boat. Sadly, we didn't have the camera running, but I have found a few videos on the internet and this great bunch of pictures from a photographer that was attending the event.

I have been going to boat races since I could breathe, and this had to have been one of the worst crashes that I've ever seen. The driver of the boat is alive, but from what I understand, he is having a lot of back problems. Also at the bottom is the Tim Stokes Widowmaker crash from Waco in 2007, be watching for the 2007 SDBA roundup video that we plan on getting online in the next week or so, we have a version of the Widowmaker crash in slo-motion on the very end of it. Hopefully soon there will be more pics on the internet from the weekend, we'll get them up as they are available.
