Ok so no I don't post much on the whole Star Trek universe, I was never a big fan of any of the tv series, the only thing I was ever into were the movies. I still believe that Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan and Star Trek 3: The Search for Spock are science fiction classics. Well now LOST creator JJ ABRAMS has decided to have his way with the Trek universe and COMPLETELY START OVER. Same characters, same universe, but they are all played by a bunch of twenty-something year old actors. Well the first thing I thought was WHY?! But then I just had to think about one thing....MONEY. The Star Trek franchise has made Paramount a LOT OF CASH, for like 40 something years...and they're just gonna shut it down because I believe the last couple of films they made with the Generations people were complete shit? Hell no, they hire a revolutionary dude like Abrams and try to fire that sucker up again!

Will I see this film? Probably when it hits blu-ray yes.....the reason I say that is with 2 kids I had to see Madagascar 2 last week and I still haven't seen the new Bond flick..hard for me to get to the movies. Here is the first full trailer, they had that bunch of welders building the Enterprise teaser like a year ago, so this is the real deal. I promise you with all the die hard trekkies still around, this thing will make a killing and we will see more Trek movies until they start going back in time and saving humpback whales....then they will stop for few years, until the next hotshot director decides to reboot it, and then repeat repeat repeat
